New product: KTC Rentals terminal become KTC RMS

KTC RMS (Rentals Management System) 4.00 is the new version replacing KTC Rentals terminal. If you have already KTC Rentals terminal, you will get freely this new version. This could be your chance to give up your rental boxes!

To receive this new version:

• Your folder contains the new HUD 'KTC Information HUD', wear it and click on the upper right icon.
• Your folder contains an object 'KTC Updater box - Rentals terminal x.xx', rez it in the world.

Important information about updates

Coming soon, all 'KTC Information' notecards and 'Updater box' or 'Update terminal' objects inside product packages will be replaced by a HUD named 'KTC Information HUD'. Similar to the unpacker HUD, this one will allows to check if an update is available for your product (The 'Unpack' button is replaced by an 'Update' button). The term and object 'Updater box' will be reserved for products whose scripts can be updated automatically.

Note that currently, many products do not have an unpacked HUD. The unpacked HUD exists only for products delivered in the store.

Edit on September, 20: All product packages include now the new 'KTC Information HUD' and the chapter about product update in the user manuals was updated. Also, all old blue cube packages were replaced by an unpacker HUD.

Prochainement, toutes les notecards "KTC Information" et objets "Updater box" ou "Update terminal" dans les emballages de produits seront remplacés par un HUD nommé "KTC Information HUD". Similaire au HUD de déballage, celui-ci permettra de vérifier si une mise à jour est disponible pour votre produit (le bouton "Déballage" est remplacé par un bouton "Mise à jour"). Le terme "Updater box" sera réservé aux produits dont les scripts peuvent être mis à jour automatiquement.

À noter qu'actuellement, de nombreux produits ne disposent pas encore de HUD de déballage. Le HUD de déballage n'existe que pour les produits délivrés en magasin.

Changements au 20 septembre : tous les emballages de produits intègrent désormais le nouveau HUD "KTC Information HUD" et le chapitre relatif à la mise à jour du produit a été modifié. Également, les anciens emballages en forme de cube ont été remplacés par un HUD de déballage.

New product: KTC NSS is out!

KTC NSS (Networked Sales System) is (finally) out! After 1 year and 9 months of work, KTC offers on Second Life an alternative of CasperVend. The major difference is KTC NSS works as a standalone way without external connexion on Internet. This means you have the total control of your system, your data remain on SL and this one will always works, whatever happens.

KTC NSS is the new version replacing KTC Vendor server. If you have already KTC Vendor server, you will get freely this new version. All is now included like affiliate vendors. The 'Catalog' add-on was removed.

Beta testing has begun for the future KTC Vendor server product replacement, KTC NSS (Network Sales System). KTC NSS is scheduled to go on sale in September 2023 at a price of L$1,995.

KTC recherche un bêta-testeur pour système de vente en réseau non interfacé avec le Web.

Profil recherché 

• Personne motivée, sérieuse, organisée et intéressée par ce système
• Francophone sachant lire l'anglais (produit en anglais — manuel en français et en anglais)
• Connaissances basiques de manipulation des scripts (connaissances de base en LSL souhaitées), des objets et permissions
• Bonne capacité rédactionnelle (rapports de bogues, amélioration de la documentation, etc)
• Disposer d'un « alt » (tests nécessitant une tierce personne)
• Disposer d'un micro pour les communications vocales avec le développeur (compte Discord bienvenu)

Détails du projet

• Durée du test : 1 mois (voire plus si corrections techniques majeures)
• Possibilité de mettre fin aux tests sans justification, ni contrepartie
• Aucune contrainte de temps (toutes les fonctionnalités devront cependant avoir été testées dans la durée impartie)
• Test de toutes les fonctionnalités du produit au même titre qu'un simple utilisateur
• Reporter les dysfonctionnements avec précision, les manquements ou difficultés de compréhension dans la documentation
• S'engager à préserver une totale confidentialité sur le produit et ses tests pendant et après
• Rémunération en nature avec gratuité totale sur l'ensemble des produits KTC actuels
• Possibilité de gratuité du système jusqu'à 5 personnes désignées par le bêta-testeur à sa commercialisation

Update: KTC Sim anti•intrusion

A new version 2.30 is available for the product KTC Sim anti•intrusion. Here the changes:

• Some avatars were not detected if the detection height was set to 0.
• Calculated detection frequency was not take into account.
• Duplicates are now checked when white list import from a notecard.
• Settings are now stored in non-volatile memory. This means settings are preserved when scripts resetting.
• Ability to choose keeping ou not current settings in the "Reset" menu.

Rez the updater box to get this new version and follow update instructions from the icon on the top-right of the user manual.

Une nouvelle version est disponible pour le produit KTC Sim anti•intrusion. Voici les modifications apportées :

• Certains avatars n'étaient pas détectés si la hauteur de détection était définie sur 0.
• La fréquence de détection calculée n'était pas prise en compte.
• La présence de doublons est à présent vérifiée lors de l'importation de la liste blanche à partir d'une notecard.
• Les paramètres sont maintenant stockés en mémoire non-volatile. Ceci signifie que les paramètres sont préservés lors de la réinitialisation des scripts.
• Possibilité de choisir de préserver ou non les paramètres actuels dans le menu "Reset".

Rezzez l'updater box pour recevoir cette nouvelle version et suivez les instructions de mise à jour à partir de l'icône située en haut à droite du manuel utilisateur.
